Before joining CaptionMax, Britt's time was spent between college at the University of Minnesota, various exploits at libraries, and long-distance backpacking. After coming back to the Twin Cities after much traveling, Britt is very happy to have found a place at CaptionMax with excellent coworkers and exciting editing.

When she is not at CaptionMax, Britt can be found in the woods, at her sewing machine, behind a book, cruising on her vintage Schwinn, peering in the oven at baked goods, wrestling with knitting needles, planning backpacking trips in far-off and nearby lands, up to her elbows in her garden, or playing with her kitten, Wendigo.
