Juliette Silvers

Rehabilitation Counselor and Adult Education Instructor

Congenitally blind, Juliette has been an active supporter of live Audio Description in many Twin Cities theaters. Her advice is sought by the top theater describers in Minnesota because she provides intelligent insight ensuring that audio description meets the needs of the audience that uses this service.

Juliette is a board member of the American Council of the Blind, and has resided in New York, Kentucky, and most recently Minnesota. Juliette also currently is a phone counselor with the Crisis Connection and does volunteer work with the Mn. AIDS Project. Also, when not attending described plays, Juliette can be found on the stage - she has performed in two plays produced by Theatre Associates of Stillwater.

Juliette's passion for high quality description, and love of film and television brings passion and experience in audio description to our board.
