Dave Louapre is a closed-caption editor who was recently coerced into writing a brief bio of himself under a veiled threat of something not nice. He has owned four dogs, some uninteresting fish, and a rat.

He has written for Piranha Press, D.C. Comics, the L.A. Reader, Fangoria, and a magazine that doesn’t exist anymore that published full frontal nudity…in focus and on purpose.

He enjoys Pleasure, and is a big fan of its early work.

He is still frightened by Kabuki, and once, as a child, had a lit cigar tip accidentally thrust into his ear in a cemetery in New Orleans.

He thinks he’s Catholic.
