Born on the East Coast, but grew up on the West Coast. I received a double major in Psychology and Child Development. After my education I began working with a variety of movie studios (Sony Pictures Studios, Culver Studios, Disney Studios) in an administrative capacity. After that I worked as a freelance transcriber for various companies. Until one day I called a company named CaptionMax out of the phone book. I spoke with Tom, who invited me in for an interview as an offline captioner, and the rest is history. In my free time I read, draw, and play with my two dog “babies” Charlie and Joy.
