Born and raised in the Snowmobile Capitol of the World (here’s a hint…it’s in Wisconsin), Kate began the inevitable progression into life as a Minnesotan with her enrollment at Gustavus Adolphus College, and continued it with her recent move to Minneapolis. Though her indifference to the Packer/Viking rivalry has made the transition slightly less traumatic, Kate still clings to her Wisconsin driver’s license with pride.

One day Kate hopes to travel abroad, complete a Star Wars marathon, and solve the “chicken or the egg?” mystery. Until then, she can be found biking to CaptionMax to feed her creative writing addiction.

Kate loves: paint-by-numbers, Ultimate Frisbee, gluten/dairy-free foods, music festivals, and brand new socks.

Kate dislikes: low rise jeans, lobster, and chalk.
