>> Kristi Arntzen
Multimedia Supervisor

After seven thankless years working in the grocery business at Rainbow Foods, Kristi decided to look for a "real" job, or one that involved reading and writing, and did not involve close contact with food. She felt confident that, with her English degree, she would find a job in no time. (After all, her mother told her so.) She finally found what she was looking for in the form of CaptionMax. (Whew!)

Now a veteran captioner and proofer, Kristi has risen through the ranks to become the supervisor of the night shift. She tries to keep the troops in line by offering them gobs of candy (much like her predecessor Liz). Unlike most people these days, Kristi actually enjoys her job and finds that she has even more time to pursue her passion: writing poetry. Kristi also enjoys reading poetry (esp. Margaret Atwood, Quincy Troupe, W.S. Merwin, Michael Dennis Browne, and Emily Dickinson), taking poetry classes at the Loft, going to poetry readings, (sense a pattern here?) and listening to music (esp. Luna, Gomez, Dave Matthews, Beck, and most local Minnesota music). She hopes, one day, to publish her very own book of poetry complete with illustrations. She lives in St. Paul with her adorable Itty-Bitty kitty.
