Rich Kennedy was formerly Katie Kennedy, néé Katie Massa. It's all terribly complicated, but suffice it to say, there once was an attractive caption editor named Katie Massa who worked at CaptionMax (and moonlighted as a stand-up comedian). Then she became Katie Kennedy, no less attractive or funny, and transferred to Sales. Then one night she left and soon thereafter a Rich Kennedy appeared who claimed to be her husband.

There have been rumors that He Who Must Not Be Named had been seen around these parts. Others comment that Cheney visited Disneyland not too long ago. Also, it has been observed that Rich never allows anyone to touch his left hand.

The upshot is that Kennedy name was transferred from sales to the realtime department, where he does everything Mike Hansel tells him to do.
