Monday, November 6, 2006. CaptionMax and the Described and Captioned Media Program (DCMP), formerly the Captioned Media Program (CMP), administered by the National Association of the Deaf, announces a partnership to dramatically increase the availability of described and captioned DVDs and web videos for classroom use. This announcement follows the recent announcement that CaptionMax won a five-year Department of Education award to make such media accessible (see the article, CaptionMax wins two 5-year grants to make classroom media accessible!, for more information on this grant).
