The writer-describers develop a style guide for each show we do, particularly if it is a series. This way, we make sure that reoccurring characters and their mannerisms are described in a recognizable way for the blind audience.
Besides characters, it is useful to consistently describe place settings, opening scene logos and special effects, and other themes characteristic to a show or program.
We also make sure to use the same describer throughout a series. If, for scheduling reasons, the writing duties get shifted around, at least the voice remains the same.
