Description on the VCR

If you record a show or manage the television’s channels with the VCR’s remote, then you should check the VCR’s menu for SAP. Use the same procedure that you would for a television.

If you record a show with SAP turned on, it will always be on when you view the program. The reverse is true, too: If you record the show with SAP turned off, it will always be off.
