Although Kathy is a native of Minnesota, she comes to CaptionMax after many years in Southern California. She was a caption editor at NCI in Los Angeles a long time ago and worked with hard of hearing people of all ages in Southern California. She especially enjoys having seasons again, especially autumn, when the trees turn every color imaginable.

Once back in Minnesota, Kathy returned to captioning. The best part of working at CaptionMax, she says, is the bright, fun coworkers. She also likes the idea of doing something worthwhile and especially enjoys reading letters from viewers which remind us that people are out there watching the programs we caption.

Kathy has one grandson and one granddaughter and frequently celebrates their special events at CaptionMax.
